Mary T.
Bruce, SPHR, CEBS has over seventeen years experience in all facets
of human resources including the creation of employment policies and
practices, benefit plan design and analysis, compensation programs,
performance measurement systems, training and work process analysis.
Prior to forming GulphCreek Consultants, Mary held the position of Assistant
Vice President of Human Resources and Facilities Management for the
U.S. reinsurance subsidiary of an international financial services organization
headquartered in Philadelphia.
As a consultant,
Mary has provided human resource solutions for clients ranging in size
from 7 to 650 in a variety of industries including; financial services,
insurance, non-profit, advertising, technology, government and manufacturing.
Mary has developed and delivered training programs for Corporations
including Independence Blue Cross and Christopher's Restaurant, as well
as trade and professional associations including the Mid-Atlantic Employers
Association, Specialty Advertising Council of the Delaware Valley, Promotional
Products Association International, Lorman Education Services and the
Greater Valley Forge Human Resource Association. Mary is currently an
Adjunct Faculty member at Penn State Great Valley and Ursinus College.
Mary is
an adjunct outplacement counselor for Lee Heck Harrison, and serves
on the Board of the Philadelphia Reinsurance Corporation, the Women's
Resource Center, and the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Society
of Pension Actuaries. She is Past-President of the Greater Valley Forge
Human Resource Association, and the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of
the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists.
She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and World
at Work.
Mary received
a B.S. in Human Resources from Cabrini College, holds both the Senior
Professional in Human Resources and Certified Employee Benefit Specialist
designations and is currently enrolled in the Masters in Training and
Organizational Development Program at Saint Joseph's University.
